"I have had my DEKA UltraSpeed CO2 laser for over two years now, and I don't know how I ever functioned without it. My CO2 laser has really made placing implants fun and easy. In the past I had to lay a flap for access, but now using the laser and punch technique, there is virtually no bleeding, and the post op pain and swelling are almost non-existent. If you do any type of veneers, you need to have this laser. Gingival re-contouring is so quick and easy, and again, the post op recovery is very quick and painless.
One of my favorite things about my CO2 laser is the ease of use. There was no learning curve. I was doing gingival recontouring the first day I got the laser. Frenectomies only take minutes to do. I actually have to slow down when doing a frenectomy so the patient feels like he/she is getting his money's worth. Frenectomies and gingivectomies are so quick and easy with it! Five or ten minutes of total chair time are all that's needed for many soft tissue procedures with the DEKA - that's it! "I purchased a DEKA UltraSpeed CO2 Laser in 2006, after observing its use by Dr. James Downs at an "Over the Shoulders Cosmetic Dentistry" program at Arrowhead Dental Laboratory. Subsequently, I used the laser during a hands-on clinical program with Dr. Downs and during a demonstration day in my office. During this demonstration day, I performed supervised procedures I would not have conceived of in my thirty-seven years of practice.
